Vitiligo

The Challenge:
Targeted Media Health and the company aimed to educate patients on living with Vitiligo within targeted offices. The goal was to provide relevant information and bring awareness to the skin condition when and where patients need it the most. Through this, we intend to increase stimulating and productive patient/physician dialogue, which can reduce any health issues that may arise from a lack of information.
The Solution:
To help solve this challenge, the Health REPORTS issue was designed as a condition guide. Targeted Media Health reached over 2,000 targeted healthcare offices with this guide over a four-month period.
The Results:
- 90% are placing the Health REPORTS magazines in the waiting room.
Waiting Room: 90% | Exam Room: 45% | Hand out to appropriate patients: 15% | Other: 5% - 80% of the responding physicians indicated that their patients have been taking Health REPORTS home with them.
- 65% of the responding physicians indicated that their patients have been taking Health REPORTS into the exam room.
- Three-quarters of the responding physicians indicated that they feel patients are more informed/knowledgeable about nonsegmental vitiligo after reading Health REPORTS. (70%)
- 95% of the responding physicians indicated that they would recommend Health REPORTS to their patients.
